Its use is recommended for total or partial impressions of dentate and edentulous mouths, for work on total or partial removable dentures, for use in the manufacture of study models for orthodontic work, in addition to being useful in impressions for the manufacture of single-unit restorations. and multiple, crowns and fixed bridges.

Guidelines for using Type I Alginate Jeltrate Plus from Dentsply Sirona

• After handling, it acquires a creamy, thixotropic consistency allowing the reproduction of details up to 50µ.
  For each measure of powder (1 spoon), use 1/3 of the measure of water.
  Handling time: 45 seconds.
  Time to place the mixture in the tray: 15 seconds.
  Tray time in the mouth: 1 minute.
  Total setting time: 2 minutes.
  For best results, pour the plaster model immediately. If the mold is kept in a humidifier, it will be possible to pour the plaster up to 96 hours after molding. Never store the mold in water.
