Dentsply Sirona’s Jeltrate Plus Type I Alginate is a dental impression material with excellent properties to facilitate the professional’s work due to its short setting time and low permanent deformation. Its use is recommended for total or partial impressions of dentate and edentulous mouths, for work on total or partial removable dentures, for use in the manufacture of study models for orthodontic work, in addition to being useful in impressions for the manufacture of single-unit restorations. and multiple, crowns and fixed bridges.

It has great compatibility with plaster, excellent thixotropy, flow and elasticity properties, being recognized worldwide for the quality of the prints, high precision and copying capacity it performs.

 

Guidelines for using Type I Alginate Jeltrate Plus from Dentsply Sirona

  • After handling, it acquires a creamy, thixotropic consistency allowing the reproduction of details up to 50µ.
    For each measure of powder (1 spoon), use 1/3 of the measure of water.
    Handling time: 45 seconds.
    Time to place the mixture in the tray: 15 seconds.
    Tray time in the mouth: 1 minute.
    Total setting time: 2 minutes.
    For best results, pour the plaster model immediately. If the mold is kept in a humidifier, it will be possible to pour the plaster up to 96 hours after molding. Never store the mold in water.
